Philosophy of Care
At Envision Pediatrics, we are dedicated to tackling complex diagnoses and exploring challenging workups because we believe every child deserves the critical thinking and thorough diagnostics that can change the trajectory of their lives. We know that timely diagnosis and personalized treatment can be life-changing, sometimes marking the difference between a life burdened by illness and one full of possibility. By partnering with trusted leaders in the medical field, we provide families with an advanced level of care through combining precision medicine with a compassionate, integrative approach.

We believe that every child deserves time, dedication, and expertise that may unlock their brightest future. With this philosophy, we’re not only redefining pediatric care—we’re reshaping what it means to truly care for children and helping them thrive in ways that will last a lifetime.

Meet the Doctor
Dr. Gina Labovitz, M.D., FAAP
Hello! I'm Dr. Gina Labovitz, but many of my patients call me "Dr. L" for short. I am a Kentucky native and have returned to my roots after completing residency training and working in private practice in the beautiful Birmingham, Alabama.

Through my personal journey balancing being a physician, wife, and mom of two young boys, I have reignited my passion for healing. In addition to practicing medicine, I have also spent the last few years navigating health issues for my own child and my dad. It is through this journey as both a physician and a patient, that led me to create a clinic to help families navigate medical issues with extra time and attention to detail.

Envision Pediatrics is a specialty clinic dedicated to a focus on child development, behavioral health, as well as care for children with complex medical conditions. In all of these cases, children deserve a listening ear and true critical thinking. Envision Pediatrics provides extended appointments , direct communication with the doctor, time dedicated to researching complex conditions, and collaboration with experts across the country if needed.

"Whole child" care takes into account the uniqueness of each child and considers how all bodily systems are intertwined and work together. It also takes into account the many factors that can shape the health of the child such as nutrient status, environmental triggers, social stressors, traumatic events, and how we can heal from them. Treatment and healing is a multi-dimensional approach.

If you are ready to take a deep dive into your child's health, I hope you'll reach out. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know your child's story!

Sincerely,

Dr. Gina Labovitz
