WILL MY INSURANCE COVER MY VISIT?
At Envision Pediatrics, the appointments with your doctor are not billed to insurance. This is because conventional, insurance based care is based on high-volume models with limited time per patient.
Personalized medicine is the opposite — it requires time, deep investigation into metabolic, nutritional, infectious, environmental, and genetic factors. Health insurance only typically covers the bare basics of medical care. We are able to use your insurance for basic labs, imaging, and prescription medications.
If you are on a continuity membership model, all visits are covered under your monthly fee with no copays. Insurance does not cover certain specialty testing such as genomics and gut health, which are bundled into the cost of our Starter Package.
DO YOU OFFER FULL SCALE PRIMARY CARE SERVICES?
At this time, Envision Pediatrics is a specialty clinic that focuses on developmental pediatrics, behavioral health, and complex medical care. We do not provide full scale general pediatric services such as urgent care and vaccines, so we do recommend your child has a primary care provider for those reasons.
HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
We are currently a small clinic, so the best way to get in touch is to go to our contact page and fill out your information with a brief synopsis of the services you are seeking. Our registered nurse patient intake coordinator will then reach out to you and find a time to schedule a phone call speak with you and provide more information regarding our practice. DO YOU ACCEPT KENTUCKY MEDICAID?
Unfortunately, at this time Envision Pediatrics is not a Medicaid provider. In the future, we hope to be able to offer our specialty services to all children. If you are interested in joining us as we advocate for Medicaid to recognize the need for increased access to care and specialized pediatric services, please email us with your interest!
